Pia Dijkstra hamert op Kiwanis Kunstveiling Utrecht<\/h2>\n

De 5e<\/sup> Kiwanis Kunstveiling Utrecht is zondagmiddag 11 november geopend door Pia Dijkstra, journaliste, presentatrice en lid van de Tweede Kamer voor D66. Pia Dijkstra hamerde de eerste kavels waarna veilingmeester Michiel van Hees de hamer overnam en in rap tempo zo\u2019n 225 kavels de revue liet passeren. Er was veel belangstelling op de kijkdagen van zaterdag en zondag in Het Oude Tolhuys en de veiling werd dan ook goed bezocht door zo\u2019n 200 bieders.<\/p>\n

De meeste veilingstukken werden verkocht, zowel kunst zoals van de Utrechters Moesman, Van Poppel , Van Rooij, Zwerver als ook zilver, Leerdam glas, en vele antiquiteiten. De opbrengst van de veiling gaat naar de Indo-Dutch Foundation, die hiermee in de Indiase deelstaat Maharashtra een schoolopleiding voor straatkinderen mogelijk maakt.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
